“Honey, The Toilet Is Clogged Again!”
A clogged toilet can be a big headache, especially if it’s the only one in your home! Attempting to unclog it yourself seems fairly simple; however, if not done the correct way it can lead to a toilet overflow and a mess all over your bathroom floor. Yuck!
UNCLOG THAT TOILET THE CORRECT WAY
First, you need to make sure to use the correct plunger style. A cup-style plunger is for sink clogs, and a flange style is for toilet clogs. The reason for this is the flange creates a suction at the bottom of the toilet bowl.
Before you start plunging, make sure to turn off the water first.
Fill the flange with water first by tipping it into the water in the bowl.
Place the plunger directly over the hole and gently start to plunge.
